Civil Engineering Department

A Civil Engineering degree from Montana Tech offers the student a specialization in the areas of foundations and structures and surface water hydrology and hydraulics. Civil engineering graduates work in construction, design roads, bridges and water treatment facilities.

The world needs more engineers, to tackle challenges in infrastructure, drive our economy and to apply knowledge and experience to solve real world problems. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates the demand for professionals in several engineering disciplines to continue to grow, with the addition of approximately 250,000 engineering positions over the next 10 years and Montana Tech is uniquely poised to help fill that need.

To help meet this need and graduate more engineers it is imperative we increase our departmental funds. With your help, we would like to grow the Montana Tech Civil Engineering Departmental Fund. Please consider giving today.
