Mining Engineering
SME - Anderson-Carlisle Technical Society

The Montana Tech Mining Department is known for producing mining engineers with a particular aptitude for practical application of what they learn, our engineers have a particular knack for getting rock in the box. An important part of that preparation is attending the annual SME meeting, where our students have the opportunity to meet Alumni, industry contacts, attend technical sessions, and often find internships and permanent jobs.

Here is where you can help. While we still receive some support from industry (which we very much appreciate), that support is not at the same level it was in past years. We need you, alumni and friends of the department, to help us provide the financial support to insure as many of our aspiring engineers as possible can benefit from the opportunity to attend the SME annual meeting.  Our fundraising target each year is $14,000.

Please consider giving today to The Anderson-Carlisle Technical Society at Montana Tech - Student Chapter SME. Every gift counts, and any money raised over our goal will benefit the chapter’s efforts to attend SME next year.

Thank you for your support of Mining Engineering students at Montana Tech and please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email and tell your friends!
