Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences
William & Elny Chance Scholarship

The Montana Tech Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences Department offers one of the only truly interdisciplinary degrees in the state of Montana. Unlike other interdisciplinary degrees around the country that have a core in only Arts and Humanities, Montana Tech’s interdisciplinary program also embraces our strong heritage of Science, Engineering, and Mathematics. We push our students to integrate Science, Technology, Communication, and the Arts to solve the modern problems of our society.

The Faculty of the Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Department stand united for the ideals of diversity, acceptance, and inclusion at our university. We welcome all students to learn to the best of their abilities on our campus in an environment free from racism, sexism, bigotry, harassment, and oppression. We uphold these ideals ourselves, and strongly encourage our colleagues across the university both to uphold these ideals, and to teach them when appropriate to our students as a way to move human society forward.

Our students are from diverse backgrounds, but have a common goal of innovation through Arts and Sciences.  They also have a common need of scholarship support, and that is why we are asking you to give today to support the William & Elny Chance Scholarship.

The Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Department awards the William & Elny Chance Scholarship each academic year. The amount of the scholarship varies, depending on the number of applicants. Our hope is to grow the overall fund and in turn increase the amount we are able to award selected students.

Please consider a gift to the William & Elny Chance Scholarship today! Thank you for your support and please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email and tell your friends!
