DayOne 2022

Exciting things are happening in the Computer Science Department at Montana Technological University. As of last year, Cybersecurity and Network Technology are part of the department, so we now offer four bachelor degree programs: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, and Cybersecurity/Network Technology.

With the new offerings, we are more committed than ever to making education accessible to more students. 

Currently, there are more high-paying computing jobs in Montana than there are graduates. The Computer Science Department is ready to answer this call and realizes that to do so we need to make sure we have the funds available to support our students. 

With this in mind, for DayOne 2022 we are asking you to invest in the next generation of computing professionals with a gift to the Computer Science Departmental Scholarship. By growing our Computer Science Departmental Scholarship, we can eliminate the financial barriers that prevent students from pursuing a degree in Computer Science.

During DayOne thanks to a generous gift from an anonymous donor, each gift to the Computer Science Departmental Scholarship will be matched 1:1 up to $1,000.
