The mission of the Montana Tech Safety, Health and Industrial Hygiene Department is to serve students by supplying knowledge and research opportunities that provide high quality, accessible, science and technology curricula with program educational objectives focused on preparing students for successful safety and health careers.
We have been very lucky over the years with strong enrollment to our program, but realize to grow and recruit more students both promotion and additional scholarship dollars are necessary.
This DayOne we are asking you to support our SHIH Scholarships and the Safety Health & Industrial Hygiene Department Fund.
SHIH Scholarships provide immediately available scholarship funds that are awarded by the Safety, Health & Industrial Hygiene department. Additional scholarship dollars through our SHIH Scholarships provide expanded recruiting resources to the Safety, Health & Industrial Hygiene department and ultimately will help us grow enrollment in the program.
Additionally we are asking you to join us in growing our Safety Health & Industrial Hygiene Department Fund. This allows us to have immediate funds available to promote the department to future students, invest in our labs, in equipment, in experiential learning for students and be able to adapt learning and educational delivery systems if the need arises. We invite you to consider making a gift to the Safety Health & Industrial Hygiene Department Fund during DayOne.
