Environmental Engineering
Investing In Our Program and Students

Montana Tech boasts one of the oldest and most established Environmental Engineering degree programs anywhere in the world, having just celebrated 50 years in 2023! Environmental Engineering at Montana Tech offers a broad-based science and engineering education, followed by advanced courses in air and water pollution control, hazardous wastes, soils remediation, pollution prevention, health risk analysis, and land reclamation.

We offer a learning environment that includes “hands-on” laboratory classes and plenty of classroom discussion, as you study how pollutants are generated, measured, and controlled.

We believe in investing in the growth of our program and our students, and we ask you to join us. This year we are raising funds for the Environmental Engineering Department Fund and the 50th Anniversary Environmental Engineering Alumni Endowed Scholarship. Raising money for the Environmental Engineering Department Fund allows us to best support our students, and provide continued professional development for faculty, opportunities for field trips and conferences, and resources to acquire innovative and needed equipment. The 50th Anniversary Environmental Engineering Alumni Endowed Scholarship was started by Montana Tech Environmental Engineering alumni and is awarded each year to a sophomore, junior, or senior Environmental Engineering student.

During DayOne, thanks to an anonymous donor, each gift made to the either the Environmental Engineering Department Fund or the 50th Anniversary Environmental Engineering Alumni Endowed Scholarship will be matched 1:1 up to $3,000

Please consider making a gift today and investing in our Environmental Engineering students at Montana Tech.

Thank you for your support and please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email, and tell your friends!
