Highlands College is a small school that enjoys the luxuries of a beautiful setting, fine instructional faculty, and a warm, supportive learning environment.
We serve the greater Butte Region through our associate degree and certificate programs, continuing education, customized training, workforce development, and dual enrollment programs. Students can complete a degree designed to help them enter the workforce immediately, or earn credits that may be transferred to a 4-year degree program. Highlands College features quality education, dedicated faculty and staff, small class sizes, individual attention, student services, and exceptionally affordable tuition.
Highlands College is home to all Montana Tech career-ready and transfer programs that help build the workforce we need to better lives in Butte and Montana. We continue to pursue industry-specific partnerships locally giving you even more opportunities for employment.
With this in mind during DayOne we are raising funds for our Trades and Technology Fund to promote Highlands College and support our students. We realize that additional resources through the Trades and Technology Fund would help us better promote the unique offering Highlands College delivers to our local business community.
Highlands College is excited to host our annual Trades & Technology Day bringing Industry, secondary, post-secondary and community partners together to expose students to careers of today and the future. Students will explore high-skill, high-wage and in demand career pathways through hands-on activities, by talking directly with industry representatives, community members, and college faculty. Support from the community has been wonderful and Highlands College plans to host additional exploration opportunities in the upcoming year. For more information on this year's event visit HERE.
Additionally we want to invest in experiential learning for our students by allowing them to compete in hands on competitions. Raising additional funds for the Trades and Technology Fund will help us achieve all of these goals. Please consider making a gift during DayOne to the Trades and Technology Fund.
Thanks to a generous gift from Jack '73 and Leah McCarthy gifts made to the Trades and Technology Fund during DayOne will be matched 1:1 up to $2,000.
Thank you for your support and please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email and tell your friends!
