Biology at Montana Tech is a gateway to expansive possibilities in medicine, veterinary medicine, wildlife biology or graduate school.
Montana Tech biology students are directly involved in research activities through independent projects or by assisting faculty in important research projects. Students learn biological sciences in an environment that encourages close student-faculty interaction and take advantage of research and education opportunities provided by Tech’s location near national parks, wilderness areas, wildlife management areas and world class trout streams.
We believe in investing in our students and we ask you to join us. Scholarship dollars are imperative to support our students, enrich their experience and grow our program. By making a gift to our Biological Sciences Departmental Scholarships and Frank & Mary Mollish Endowed Sciences Fund we offer students hands on experiences unique to Montana Tech and help them reach their educational goals. Our Biological Sciences Departmental Scholarships help us recruit and retain current students in our program. Major Frank and Mrs. Mollish moved to Butte in 1960 and were life-long supporters of Montana Tech. They understood the value of the level of education a student would receive at such a superior institution Their goal was to encourage academic achievement utilizing engaging environments. The Frank & Mary Mollish Endowed Sciences Fund supports camps, field activities and experiential learning opportunities for students enrolled in Biological Sciences. Please consider giving today and investing in our students at Montana Tech.
