Computer science is the study of computers and computing concepts, such as hardware, software, networking, and the Internet. It includes many branches, such as artificial intelligence, programming, software engineering, and computer graphics. Put simply, computer scientists use technology to solve problems, from writing software to make computers work more efficiently to creating mobile apps, in every industry.
Montana Tech Department of Computer Science offers bachelor degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering an Data Science. Montana Tech professors are experienced in the industry and have broad academic interests.
Low student-faculty ratio allows close interaction with these professors on real-world projects. Enjoy easy access to lab computers and state of the art equipment and development platforms including the heterogeneous computing platform Hydra.
To help enrich the experience of our students we are raising funds towards the REAL Scholarship. The need to increase available funds grows each year, as anywhere from 5 to 10 students qualify annually. Each $600 raised means a scholarship for a student.
We are also offering the option to raise funds in our Montana Tech Computer Sciences Departmental Fund. By building our Montana Tech Computer Sciences Departmental Fund we are able to provide the equipment and supplies our students will need to be best prepared for their career after Montana Tech.
Please consider supporting Montana Tech students with a gift to either of both the REAL Scholarship and/or the Montana Tech Computer Sciences Departmental Fund today (if both just choose the add gift option when processing your donation).
Thank you for your support and please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email and tell your friends!
