The undergraduate Business program at Montana Technological University is designed to supplement traditional business coursework with state-of-the-art information technology.
Business at Montana Tech has outstanding faculty combined with smaller class sizes and strives to offer a very rich experience for our students.
The mission of the Business Department is to prepare tomorrow’s business leaders for the challenges of a dynamic global business environment. In a nutshell, at Montana Tech, business students learn to creatively solve problems.
To this end, the Business Department is raising funds for the Business Departmental Fund to support student activities related to experiential learning opportunities.
We plan to continue work towards the development of our SAP Next Gen Lab and student collaboration center. We want to take the education that happens in the classroom and find opportunities for our students to apply it in real-world scenarios. We aim to facilitate this we are raising funds to create programs for our students to work and learn with businesses in the Butte community.
Additionally, this year our Business speaker series will focus on the importance of soft skills to career success. We have secured seven accomplished professionals to speak on their success as it relates to the role soft skills played. The seven sessions follow the Stephen Covey framework of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
We strive to offer all available experiences to students in a safe environment. All of these better prepare our students to enter the workforce upon graduation. A gift o the Business Departmental Fund allows us to support and enhance our student's education by adding experiences outside the classroom, whether in person or virtual, to give them the chance for experiential learning and real-world on-the-job opportunities.
During DayOne each gift made to the Business Departmental Fund will be matched 1:1 up to $1,000 made possible by a generous gift from Jack and Leah McCarthy.
Please make a gift to the Business Departmental Fund to enrich the experience of Montana Tech's Business students. Thank you for your support and please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email, and tell your friends!
