Investing in a Supportive and Enriched Environment for Montana Tech Students

Our students are valued members of our campus community at Montana Tech, and we are committed to their successful academic and social engagement. The Office of the Dean of Students and our affiliated programs look forward to working with our students and promoting their success by providing advocacy, support, and services to meet their needs.

With this in mind, we are asking you to consider a gift to the Dean of Students Fund and the Kasperick Emergency Fund. 


The Dean of Students Fund can provide support and funds to invest in events and opportunities to enrich the Montana Tech student experience. The funds can also be used for continued professional development for our Student Affairs staff to help us provide the most enriched experience possible to our Montana Tech students.


The Kasperick Emergency Fund was created by long-time Montana Tech administrator and faculty member Joe Kasperick, who saw firsthand that at times students faced emergencies or financial needs that they could not tackle alone. With this in mind and in true Oredigger spirit, Joe created the Kasperick Emergency Fund to provide immediate funds for emergent situations. The Kasperick Emergency Fund provides compassionate assistance to students who encounter unforeseen financial emergencies or catastrophic events that disrupt their progress towards a degree.


Both the Dean of Students Fund and the Kasperick Emergency Fund provide immediately expendable funds that allow Student Affairs to take care of our students and invest in their well-being and overall experience at Montana Tech.  

Student Affairs at Montana Technological University is committed to providing support for our students and creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus environment which fosters engagement, academic success, and personal development within a distinct community of learners.

During DayOne we encourage you to make a gift to the Dean of Students Fund and the Kasperick Emergency Fund.
