Investing in Montana Tech Petroleum Engineering with Scholarships & Endowed Faculty Positions

As Montana Tech marks 125 years of hands-on engineering education, Petroleum Engineering is proud of legacy of fueling industry and opportunity. With an aging workforce across the sector, Montana Tech is uniquely positioned to meet demand by producing premier, multidisciplinary petroleum engineers who are ready to lead from day one. This year, we welcomed our largest incoming class in more than five years—momentum we’re eager to build on.

Our commitment is clear: recruit more outstanding students and graduate professionals with strong fundamentals, a broad technical toolkit, real industry experience, applied learning in innovation and entrepreneurship, and the soft skills to perform rigorously, behave ethically, and communicate effectively.

With this in mind this DayOne, the Petroleum Engineering Department is asking you to support our recruiting efforts and our students through Petroleum Engineering Departmental Scholarships,and invest in the future of our program with a gift to the Petroleum Engineering Faculty Endowment.

During DayOne all gifts to our Petroleum Engineering Departmental Scholarships will be matched 1:1 up to $3,000 thanks to Jack '73 and Leah McCarthy.

All gifts to the Petroleum Engineering Faculty Endowment will be matched 1:1 up to $3,000 thanks Nick '92 and Kari '94 Olds.
