Help Us Sustain Environmental Stewardship While Building Brighter Futures Through STEM Education

At Ripple (formerly CFWEP), we've witnessed billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of man hours restore the Clark Fork Watershed. The transformation we’ve witnessed defies imagination and the work still isn’t done. Our task for the last 20 years has been to ensure that this legacy of restoration and the will to care for the Clark Fork Watershed never fades. As a newly designated Center within the University System, Ripple will now carry the Clark Fork’s story throughout the state of Montana. We need your support to continue inspiring generations of change-makers, problem-solvers, and conservation-minded citizens.

Impact. Reach. Excellence. Sustainability.

Our innovative programs and partnerships with Montana Tech's Biology, Ecology, and Environmental Engineering Departments directly connect students throughout Montana to our incredible school. This connection provides important recruitment for Montana Tech and crucial STEM education at no cost to the schools we work with.

Diverse Programming. Long-Term Impact.

Ripple leads community clean-up days, in-school science education, teacher trainings, community events, and stormwater education (to name a few). Everything we do is meant to enrich students, teachers, and the community. To date, we've served over 84,600 students and 988 teachers across 53 Montana communities. We've earned 22 national and regional awards and shared our best practices in education research journals.

Shining a Light on Tomorrow's Scientists

Recognized as a Program of Distinction by Montana Tech, and as a Center of Excellence with the Montana University System, Ripple is a powerful tool for student engagement and recruitment. We cultivate scientifically literate citizens and prepare tomorrow's problem-solvers. Our work removes barriers and guides Montana citizens toward STEM, post-secondary education, and Montana Technological University.
