Support the Lance College of Mines and Engineering Dean Fund

For 125 years, Montana Technological University has prepared determined doers to solve real-world problems. Today, the Lance College of Mines & Engineering (LCME)—led by Dean Dr. Jack Skinner—carries that legacy forward with immersive, hands-on education and industry-aligned research that launches graduates into impactful careers.

LCME encompasses a powerful portfolio of programs—13 B.S., 11 M.S., and 2 Ph.D. degrees—spanning the core disciplines that fuel communities and economies. From mining and geological fields to civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental, metallurgical & materials, petroleum, and more, our students learn to think critically, design creatively, and lead responsibly.

Our world-class faculty teach and mentor in state-of-the-art labs and facilities that serve both undergraduate and graduate students. The result? LCME graduates with high placement rates, impressive starting salaries, and a reputation for rolling up their sleeves and getting the work done, hallmarks of an Oredigger education since 1900.

A gift to the Lance College of Mines & Engineering Dean Fund provides flexible, immediate resources to:

  • Elevate experiential learning and undergraduate research
  • Advance labs, equipment, and field experiences
  • Support student success initiatives and professional development
  • Strengthen recruitment and retention across all LCME programs

Double Your Impact on DayOne

During DayOne, thanks to Nick ’92 and Kari ’94 Olds, every gift to the LCME Dean Fund will be matched 1:1 up to $3,000—doubling your impact on students and programs as we celebrate Montana Tech’s 125th year.

Thank you for your support. Please help us spread the word—share this project with friends, classmates, and colleagues so together we can power the next 125 years of Oredigger innovation.
