Highlands College
A Focus on Partnerships, Promotion, and Recruitment at Highlands College

For 125 years, Montana Tech has been a launchpad for doers—people who learn by doing, solve real problems, and strengthen Montana. As the home for Montana Tech’s career-ready and transfer programs, Highlands College carries that legacy forward with small classes, hands-on learning, dedicated faculty and staff, and a welcoming, student-centered environment.

Highlands College serves the greater Butte region through associate degrees and certificates, continuing education, customized training, workforce development, and dual enrollment. Students can step straight into high-demand careers or earn credits that transfer seamlessly toward a four-year degree. With quality education, individual attention, strong student services, and exceptionally affordable tuition, Highlands College is building the workforce Montana needs to thrive.

Why DayOne 2025 Matters

In honor of Montana Tech’s 125th anniversary, we’re inviting the Oredigger community to invest in Highlands College and the students who will power Montana’s next 125 years. During DayOne, gifts to the Highlands College Fund will help us:

  • Promote our programs to prospective students across Southwest Montana.
  • Strengthen student support with tutoring, advising, and emergency assistance.
  • Expand hands-on learning with industry-relevant tools, labs, and certifications.
  • Grow workforce pathways through local, industry-specific partnerships that lead directly to great jobs.
