Kasperick Emergency and Dean of Students Funds
Investing in a Supportive and Enriched Environment for Montana Tech Students

For 125 years, Montana Technological University has stood by our students—helping them pursue their dreams even in the face of challenges. On this milestone DayOne, you can continue that tradition of care by making a gift to the Kasperick Emergency Fund.

Created by long-time faculty member and administrator Joe Kasperick, this fund provides immediate, compassionate assistance to Orediggers who encounter unforeseen financial emergencies or catastrophic events. A medical bill, a housing crisis, or an unexpected loss shouldn’t stop a student from earning their degree. With your support, it doesn’t have to.

Montana Technological University is committed to providing support for our students and creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus environment which fosters engagement, academic success, and personal development within a distinct community of learners.

This year we are also giving you the opportunity to support the Dean of Students Fund. Montana Tech students are at the heart of our 125-year legacy. By giving to the Dean of Students Fund, you provide resources that enhance student engagement, create meaningful experiences, and strengthen the community that makes being an Oredigger unforgettable.

This year, your gift has double the impact.

During DayOne, thanks to a generous gift from Jack ’73 and Leah McCarthy, each gift to the Kasperick Emergency Fund as well as the Dean of Students Fund will be matched 1:1 up to $1,000. Your generosity ensures we can respond quickly when students need help most—providing Student Affairs with the resources to take care of our students and invest in their well-being.

Join us in celebrating 125 years of Oredigger tradition by making a gift to take care of our students through the Kasperick Emergency Fund and the Dean of Students Fund. Together, we can ensure no student has to face life’s emergencies alone—today and into the future. .

Thank you for your support and please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email, and tell your friends!
