The College of Letters, Sciences, and Professional Studies brings together a remarkable range of disciplines united by one purpose: preparing students to turn their interests and talents into meaningful careers.

Biological sciences, business, chemistry and geochemistry, data science, exercise and health science, interdisciplinary arts and sciences, mathematics, nursing, writing, and professional pathways all find a home within CLSPS. Across these programs, students combine rigorous technical education with communication, critical thinking, creativity, and hands on experience.

As CLSPS welcomes its new dean, Dr. Matthew “Moots” Muterspaugh, the college is building on strong momentum and looking ahead to new opportunities for students, faculty, and programs. With a 93 percent career outcomes rate, CLSPS graduates are making an impact in healthcare, science, technology, business, research, education, and communities throughout Montana and beyond.

Creating Opportunities Across the College

Gifts to the CLSPS Dean’s Fund provide flexible resources that can be directed where they will make the greatest difference. Support helps the college respond to student needs, strengthen recruitment and scholarships, enhance laboratories and classroom resources, support experiential learning, and pursue emerging opportunities across its diverse programs.
